I am a confessed yo-yo dieter. Since the age of 15 and with a height of 62-inches, my weight has ranged anywhere from 115lbs to 150lbs. This may not seem like a lot, or maybe it does. Whatever the number is, extreme weight fluctuation is a very stressful circumstance for anybody. Through the years, those numbers have caused so much stress on me both mentally and emotionally. It seemed like I was shrinking myself down only to fill myself back up again. I remember hitting a point in my life where I knew I never wanted to have to lose sleep at night over what my scale was going to say the next morning. I also knew that I wanted to do something that would help girls and women who struggle with the same nagging issues as I do. I can’t say that these demons ever fully go away. Over the years of dealing with my own struggles and becoming more and more educated in health and fitness, I have developed a list of major rules that I never forget in my day to day life. The fear of weight fluctuation is always there, but these rules have at least brought me to a better place within myself and I hope they can do the same for you.
The Basics
